Reflections

Before I knock out, I'm really tired now. Sometimes I thought to myself that do I deserve all these? It's been an amazing 3 weeks back to my lovely Singapore. I've got tons of support. Nothing has change. The love I got from the people around me. Yet many times, I thought to myself, God have given me the greatest things in life. I couldn't even ask for more. Thank you to those who stayed with me. With another farewell in a day time, my heart start to feel pretty upset again. Yet another 6 more months away from my dearest people. On a positive side, I will be back for good in May. But recently this cry baby did hold back her tears pretty much time esp when I said, "see you next year" , I tried my best to hold back my tears. Ah but oh wells, 6 months will still be pretty long. I will definitely miss everything here. Good night loves.

Stages of Life

ANNYEONG FROM SOUTH KOREA~

It's been a while isn't it? And i can't really believe that i have readers from all over the world till now. This is the 9th of school. Level 2 is really not easy compare to Level 1. In case you doesn't know what i am doing in this kimchi land, i'm currently taking Korean Language Regular Program in Seoul National University and it's been a while. I had my mid-term exams and it wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either. But at least, i tried my best, so pretty much no regrets. After all, life have been really great for me for the past 9 weeks. I met a bunch of new classmates, went to Chuncheon when the kids came to Korea and went to many other places and of course, i spent quite a bit, but still, i pretty much thrifty in whatever i spend. I have my 10k won budget every single day here. After all discipline is the KEY of surviving alone in a foreign country.

Went to Asian Games in Incheon to support the Singapore's water polo team with Yushan, Sylvie and Selena. It was really really awesome.

Words can't describe how happy am i when i get to meet them. Thank you Zu, Nisa, Khai, Ben Lee,
Jocelyn and Glenson for coming over to Korea and spent so much time with me. It's been a while since i met anyone and thank you for bringing so much good food and most importantly, spending time with me. Sorry that i don't express myself, but i am indeed very thankful for the 6 of you. Glad that we spent so much time together while shopping, bargaining and lastly Chuncheon, a place that i really want to visit so so so much. (Pictures above with sceneries are all taken at Chuncheon, Nami Island. And Nisa and Zu did the Bungeeeeeeeee Jump. (I will do it soon)
And lastly, thank you once again my loves. Really appreciate all of you guys.

Let me introduce my dear German roommate, Karina. (She does look like Emma Watson guys. Don't be jealous) So i moved again, and this time, i am not staying alone anymore. I am staying with both Yushan and Karina at a one room apartment. At first, it's kinda feel weird because i am pretty used to staying alone. But having roommates is not bad as you think. It is always heartwarming when you arrived home after a long day out and someone ask you how was your day. It kinda feel like an encouragement. I don't know about the others, but to me, it kinda let me learn how you should always care for one another, especially the people that is right beside you. I do have the sense of being a sister for my 2 friends and constantly i do want to be a support to them regardless of what. If i was the old huiting, i would had already flaring up. But this time, this had taught me that in life, it's not about yourself only. Yes, i do admit that i was pretty sian with some stuffs like washing the clothes etc, but thinking about it, since i do have the time, why not, do something that will benefit someone instead, you won't die by doing it, and after all you are also washing your own clothes. Everyone is different, rather than changing and making them to suit you, why not, compromise and you changing to be the one that suit them instead. After all, it's all about your mindset. I do have like the sense of responsibility to take care of them and make sure they drink, eat enough and making sure they don't fall sick, because falling sick suck big times. This make me come to the second point, the love you get from your friends. Like yesterday, i was suffering big shit time because my root canal infection that decide to bomb me again after 1.5years of not erupting, my dear roommates saw the pain i was suffering and they keep asking me whether i am fine and whether i want anything for dinner. I can't imagine if i am alone when my infection occurred again, the amount of pain the stupid tooth could gave you, i might end up crying. (Daddy is awesome as always, told daddy yesterday and he say he will book an appointment for me upon my arrival back to Singapore so i can go for an extraction immediately, i decided not to go for root canal treatment because of the price, i do not have anymore money to spare, so extract lo, since after extracting, i pretty sure that it will not be pain anymore. HAHAHAHA)
BACK TO TRACK, Yushan and Karina, let's live happily together for the next 7 months, even though it's not easy especially winter is coming!

It's been 9 weeks with this awesome class. I thank God for letting me to know such awesome people once again in my life at Korea. Class is exceptionally fun with the 11 of them, everyday without fail, all of them will bring smile to my face. I'm not someone that laugh at everything, but indeed my classmates are pretty awesome in bringing joy to the class. I cannot imagine the class without them, how boring will it be. But really, they are the source of motivation of coming to class and to study hard, all credits to them. Yes it is a very very competitive class, but i am very glad that everyone is always helping one another to do well in class and exams. If you have any questions, they will not hesitate and answer to your needs. Because of this, i think the level of my Korean really improved. Everything seems to fast, it's the 9 weeks and we will all be going to a different class for level 3, but still, thankful and grateful for them.

Thanks to my dearest Yushan, she gave me her opportunity to meet my OPPA YAH~ Hahhaha, what the huiting, but still, thank you yushan. I met my favourite group BTOB during live broadcasts, fan-sign and this coming Saturday, their first concert in Seoul and my first concert in Korea, can't wait, but i do need to study first, finals are coming.
It is a blessing when someone sincerely put their hearts and cook for you. Thank you once again, Yushan.
Fall is definitely coming in SNU. But weather is pretty horrible here. It dropped to 0 degree in the morning and in the noon, it can go as high as 16 degree. What is this. It's only October. Why is fall so so so fast? :(

Happy Birthday my dear friend wai, i am glad that you have him to be at your side this time.
And lastly, my irritating and pervertic face to end the post, i am sorry for the lack of updates and always, my post is so long and pretty much boring except for the photos (ohwells, maybe...?) Side note, i am very excited or rather freaking excited that i will be going my this November to Singapore. Yummy food and my dear swimming pool, here i come. I miss you guys so much back there, thank you to you guys (you know who), who constantly showering me with so much love back there, for making sure that i am living well despite all the stress from work and school you all had, you all had always make time for this friend over here in another part of the world. I will see you all soon, yeah?

Pictures Update

Because I don't really know what to type for the post, so i decided to do a photo update about my life in Korea. Pretty much sum up everything for the past few months. I finished my level 1 and i'm doing level 2 now, and it's really getting tougher. But of course, i'm working harder too. So let's go.

One of the days where we  gather in our friends' house for dinner session

The start of EVBS Camp

How do i say this? But i really love their concept of bunk beds in Korea for camp

Post-stick game

Bible verse game
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13

Our very awesome Pastor Megumi telling the kids interesting stories

The Red Team Kids

The Awesome Teachers for the camp

And lastly, end of the camp. Definitely one of the best experience in Korea so far and because of God, everything went smoothly

First EVBS Camp

Next will be the last day of school whereby we had a pizza party and not only that, we went to Everland as a class

End of level one, met with so many awesome people from everywhere, all the best guys to your future and will see each other soon yeah!

So, this girl, Brenda, came to Korea for her JYJ Oppa and i had the chance to accompany her around. Even though many bad things happen to her, glad she is so strong and calm to pull through. And thank you for bringing so much things for me from Singapore

Dawnnnnnnn came over for 10 days during my 3 weeks vacation and i had the chance to go explore Seoul with her too, So this is it, NB2 Club. The picture pretty much sum out what is inside, MOUNTAIN OF PEOPLE

And "YOU ARE HERE CAFE" that is opened by Eatyourkimchi and TTMIK, not to mention, their Nutella Milkshake is so damn good please

They really make You Are Here Cafe a good place to study with internet, plugs and really nice tables conducive for studying. Not to mention that there is free classes or rather tutoring program with TTMIK teachers here. If you have time, do remember to pop in to have a look at the gorgeous cafe

AND LASTLY, WITH THE 2 BOSSES FROM EATYOUKIMCHI, and trust me guys, Martina is really really so beautiful. "Fangirling mode here"

Isn't all these animals so cute? But certainly not the price. Yes, you are right, it's the toy world at Apujeong Redeo whereby tons of celebrity film here. If i have the money..... i don't mind splurging here, not to mention, we saw BAP Himchan here while searching for food to eat

DAWNNNNN, Thank you so much for keeping me company for the 10 days! I will definitely miss you and see you back in Singapore. WE CAN EAT PRATA TOGETHER!

Photo take at Octagon Club whereby Wai and Nar joined me and Dawn

Tricia came to Korea and we spent a day together at Apujeong again. And this time, we went to visit entertainment companies and walked around Apujeong Redeo. And guess what? We saw Block B's Zico and PO, whereby we walk pass each other so close because we got to share a narrow path due to the cars coming in, and it totally fulfil Tricia's wish to see celebrity on the street. Yes, for those who want to catch a glimpse of Korean Celebrity, do head down to to Apujeong and sort of try your luck.

And i finally cut my idiotic long hair that is so horrible. But it is really expensive and i had no choice, so cut lo

And my first ever Korean wedding. Thank you for inviting me Pastor John and Teacher CC, CC was so so so so so gorgeous that day

A night well spent with the girls before we end our school holidays and the start of the new term

A photo with the Sunday School Teachers. Many things will be changing this month and definitely i will miss some of you. All the best and thank you so much for your commitment to Sunday school and the kids for the past fews years teachers, we will see you soon, take care!

A day at Myeongdong with Yushan. Was accompanying her as she need to shoot photos, so i manage to catch a glimpse of WINNER. They are indeed so so so popular here

Gwanak-san with Yushan again. We finally did it, but we came too late and it's too dangerous to keep going up the mountain so we decide to climb back down after we got lost, somehow. But indeed, it's really really pretty there, the only place that i knew whereby the Air is way much better

As Yushan need to shoot again, we went to IFC Mall. And if you look closely, BTS's V is definitely looking at the camera. (Because Karina was beside me, duh)

To celebrate the start of Chuseok, me and Wai wai went to Daehak-ro at Hyehwa Station for a walk (Actually what you call, a photoshoot session)

Had Dinner with them at the Rooftop to celebrate Chuseok (Mid Autumn Festival) and last minute, we decide to head to the club because they want to go

Club Cacoon and Hongdae, 20,000Won for the entrance fees and yes, it's super kinda packed

This time, Yushan and Karina joined us, we all had fun together, seeing other people make fun of themselves is definitely amusing
